In my LS 507 class, User Centered Information Services, I am finding out amazing resources to help with answering reference questions in the library. I found these sites noteworthy and plan to earmark them for future use:
- Internet Public Library – Although no longer updated, this is a wonderful resource allows you to search by subject, periodical, or go through their special collections. They also have special sections for children and teenagers.
- New York Public Library’s Best of the Web – These websites are added by the NYPL staff. You may search by genre.
- University of Washington’s Research Guide – These references come librarian recommended and are searchable by topic.
